What is JOY Ministry?
The JOY Ministry is designed to reach and care for mature adults by providing opportunities for worship, service, fellowship, and making disciples of Jesus Christ.
As each of us age, we begin to experience challenges and difficulties we have never encountered before. Loneliness from losing loved ones, prevailing illnesses, and financial uncertainties may grip our daily lives. While we can rest assured that God will not forsake us with age, we strive to remember aging adults around us and acknowledge their contributions to society. “Do not cast me off in the time of old age; do not forsake me when my strength is spent.” Psalm 71:9
The JOY Ministry at Cornerstone is vitally important, not only to the mature adults attending Cornerstone but also to the health of the body of believers at Cornerstone as a whole.
