Hebrews 10:24-25 gives us this challenge:
“And let us consider how to stir up
one another to love and good
works, not neglecting to meet together
as is the habit of some,
but encouraging one another,
and all the more as
you see the Day drawing near.”

These verses remind us that the goal of our Christian faith is to put Jesus on display through our lives. And, for this to happen, we need to be actively growing in our faith through the study of God’s word.

Twice a year, in the spring and the fall, we offer a variety of classes. These classes vary according to topic and length. We offer childcare (Babies-6th grade) for those who need it. These courses will expand your knowledge of the Bible, while allowing you to connect with new people from your Cornerstone family.

Classes are held on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30PM.

Ideal for one-on-one discipleship relationships, Aspire guides believers toward life-long transformation.

This will be a small group format with 2-3 per group.

NOTE: There are limited spots available for Women’s Aspire 1 and 2.

Session B | March 2-23

Counterfeit Christianity: A Study of Cults and Sects | Co-ed Study | 4 Weeks

Led by Pastor Cky Carrigan.

This course will show you how to tell the difference between Counterfeit Christianity and Genuine Christianity. It will provide some guidance for protecting your friends and family from these false-gospel religious movements. And, it will offer some tips for reaching folks who may have been deceived by them.

We won’t be diving deep into any specific Counterfeit Christian cult or sect, but we will discuss some of the basic features of Mormonism and Jehovah’s Witnesses. And, we’ll also touch briefly on Oneness Pentecostalism, Seventh-Day Adventism, Unitarian Universalism, Christian Science, Scientology, AI-generated pseudo-Christian religions, and others.

A supplemental reading list will be provided at the first session.
