Welcome to Next Level Discipleship
Beginning in 2025, we’ll be offering more discipleship courses for our Cornerstone family!
Hebrews 10:24-25 gives us this challenge: “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together
as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
These verses remind us that the goal of our Christian faith is to put Jesus on display through our lives. And, for this to happen, we need to be actively growing in our faith through the study of God’s word.
Twice a year, in the spring and the fall, we’ll be offering a variety of classes. These classes will vary according to topic and length, and, for the first time, we’ll be offering childcare for those who need it. These courses will expand your knowledge of the Bible, while allowing you to connect with new people from your Cornerstone family. How to Study the Bible | Led by Lyla Curtis | 4 Weeks: January 27-February 24
Have you ever thought “Studying the Bible for myself is just too hard! I can’t do it!” Or maybe you have wondered, “Why is it so hard to understand the Bible when I read it?” If so, we have good news for you. We are offering this 4-week course to help. Maybe you have never even attempted to learn how to study the Bible on your own. Maybe you were introduced to a study process but need a refresher. Maybe you are currently attempting the Bible study process but could benefit from more practice since “practice makes permanent.” If any of this resonates with you, this class is for you!

This course, taught by Pastor Bill, provides an overview of how to structure and deliver a Bible study. It will also examine ways to facilitate a small group in a clear and compelling way.

Aspire 1&2 | 10 Weeks: January 27-March 31
Aspire is a 15-week study, written in two parts, designed to be used to disciple believers in the local church. Each week’s study combines rich theological content and clear practical application in a journal-based format. Ideal for one-on-one discipleship relationships, Aspire guides believers toward life-long transformation.
Aspire 1 & 2 are available for purchase in The Corner on Sunday mornings.
