Frequently Asked Questions

Once available for registration, each trip will have a link to register at the bottom of the trip details.

Once confirmed, the cost of the trip is shown in the trip details. For our church members, we offset the cost through our “First Fruits” offering. This varies depending on the total cost of the trip but begins at $300 off the trip cost.

The total trip cost includes airfare and/or ground transport to and from the airport. It also includes in-country transportation (unless traveling off-schedule), accommodation, meals, emergency medical, evacuation assistance, and visa fees if necessary.

The trip cost does not include passport costs, immunizations, medications, personal baggage charges, trip cancellation insurance, airfare add-ons, airport meals, snacks, souvenirs, etc.

Adults can participate in any trip (note: we do require a background check as part of the application process). Minors can also participate on a case-by-case basis with at least one parent. In the summer we aim to have a trip designed for high school students where older students can sometimes participate without a parent.

LOGOS HOPE VISION TRIP

Saturday, March 29 – Saturday, April 5, 2025

OM Ships has a ministry center here in Florence, SC, and operates two ocean-going ships that provide a platform for Gospel ministry. The focus of the ministry is to equip Jesus followers to take the Gospel to the nations, seeing lives and communities transformed and sharing hope with people in each port-of-call.

One of the ships, Logos Hope, is in the Caribbean region, and this provides an opportunity to have a “Vision Team” visit the ship. The ship will be docked at the island of Aruba (a port change from the original schedule) during this trip.

WHAT WE WILL DO: A Vision Team to Logos Hope is an opportunity to learn more about this unique ministry first-hand. You will get to meet Christians from all around the world who staff that ship and worship with them. You will help in work departments such as preparing food, serving in the dining room, helping the cleaning team, or even working alongside the deck or engine crew members. You will get to interact with the local people who visit the ship’s onboard bookstore and attend various events on the ship.

REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED.

BELIZE MEDICAL MISSION QUARTERLY TRIPS OVERVIEW

Cornerstone works in close partnership with Kidz Konnect 4 Jesus (KK4J) in the Stann Creek district of Belize. KK4J is a ministry founded through the support and guidance of Cornerstone. We currently support the Zittle family who are based in Silk Grass, Belize.

KK4J’s ministry consists of Christian education in Belizean schools, feeding programs, family ministry, discipleship, skill training, and medical clinics. Since 2011, Cornerstone has been sending quarterly medical teams to Belize under the direction of one of our elders, Dr. Ed Behling.

During these quarterly trips, medical professionals from Cornerstone and other KK4J partner churches provide much-needed medical care in the Stann Creek district of Belize. For many Belizeans in this district, the KK4J clinics serve as their primary non-emergency medical care. Hundreds of patients are seen during these clinics and we are able to have Gospel and discipleship conversations with many of them!

Accommodation and meals are all provided by KK4J during these trips and the team stays at Camp Legacy which is a private property operated by the organization.

Medical experience is not necessary to participate in these trips.
